Wunderbar, W Hotel, Montreal

The ‘W Hotel’, the ultimate in luxury hotels in Montreal and winner of the highly coveted Conde Nast Traveller’s ‘Best New Hotel’ award, called upon CYB’s expert team to manufacture and install their magnificent ‘Wunderbar’’.  This bar has now been a hub of the Montreal nightlife for over 10 years.  In this case we used 1’’x24’’ clear acrylic sheets, to which we applied a hammered effect to reproduce the look of ice.  The biggest challenge was the on-site assembly, which included the final gluing and polishing of sections thermoformed in our ovens.
